Close the loop on workforce health intelligence
Most ANZ employers manage occupational health across disconnected tools — a survey platform here, a case management spreadsheet there, a drug testing system that doesn't talk to anything else. Clinical findings stay siloed. Interventions don't connect to the original risk assessment. ROI is impossible to demonstrate.
OccuSpan's clinical intelligence portal connects assessment, surveillance, and program delivery into a single loop — from the Inherent Requirements of the Job through to intervention, outcome, and population-level reporting.

James Murray
Founder & CEO
James founded OccuSpan after working across ANZ occupational health and seeing firsthand how fragmented the technology landscape was for OHS managers at high-risk employers. OccuSpan is the platform he needed but couldn't find — built to clinical depth, benchmarked to ANZ-specific data, and designed to turn assessment findings into actionable intervention programs rather than static reports.

What drives the platform decisions
Clinical depth over dashboard vanity
OccuSpan is built around the Inherent Requirements of the Job — the actual documented physical and psychosocial demands of each role. Every assessment, survey, and surveillance workflow connects back to that clinical spine. No module collects data that already exists elsewhere.
Evidence-based, not opinion-based
Psychosocial benchmarks use Rahimi et al. (2025) Australian COPSOQ III norms — peer-reviewed, population-specific data. Drug and alcohol workflows are built to AS 4308:2023 and AS 4760:2019. We don't approximate compliance; we build to the standard.
ANZ employers deserve a purpose-built platform
Global OHS tools are built for US or European regulatory contexts. ANZ high-risk industries — mining, construction, transport, manufacturing — operate under distinct regulatory frameworks, benchmarking datasets, and clinical standards. OccuSpan is built for this context specifically.
Data stays where it belongs
All workforce health data is processed and stored in Sydney. No cross-border transfer. Line managers never see individual survey responses. Anonymity thresholds are enforced at the database layer, not just the UI.
